Biore blackhead strips?

are they bad for your skin? because aren't they forcing the blackheads out? i just dont want it to irritate my skin or leave any red marksBiore blackhead strips?
no they arent bad for your skin...squeezing pimples/blackheads is bad cuz it pushes some of the bacteria deeper into your pores causing scars and such...but using the strips just pulls the icky stuff out. sometimes it irritates your skin for a little while and will turn red or something but thats why its best to use at night time before you go to bed...that way if your skin gets irritated, any redness will clear up by time you wake up :)Biore blackhead strips?
hmmm,

well they certainly are effective in getting blackheads out.

but they will irritate your skin if it's sensitive.

not only because of the ripping off of the strip

but some times people have an allergic reaction to the adhesive.

Biore blackhead strips?

i was just wondering if there was a specific cleanser i should use before using the strips

whats your experience with the strips?

what cleanser did you use before you put the strip on?

thanks :)Biore blackhead strips?
no there isn't you can just use a gentle cleanser or just splash your face with water because your suppose to use it when your nose is really wet(works better, but hurts when taking it off)

the strips worked well and it removed lots of dirt and stuff out of my pores and my pores felt refreshed. on the strip you can see all the things you took out of your pores. its pretty gross but interesting.. haha

yeah it hurts if the strip really sticks to your skin but you just dab water and it's okay.

:)Biore blackhead strips?
these are so awesome!

i use them all the time :)

i did not put a cleanser on before the strip, i just made sure my face was not oily by putting some water on my nose and patting it dry.

hope this helps!

  • Are you using BIOR脡 WARMING ANTI-BLACKHEAD CREAM CLEANSER?

I have mild acne, some blemishes and, unfortunately, quite a few blackheads. Does this cleanser work well? Thank you :)Are you using BIOR脡 WARMING ANTI-BLACKHEAD CREAM CLEANSER?
Yes, I have been using that for about a month now and I must say it is some really good stuff. I have problems with blackheads and the Biore' takes care of the problem. I just get my shower/bathroom really steamed up, then apply. I rub gently my fingertips in a circular motions for about 30-60 seconds then rinse with the water. I love it. It smells good too.Are you using BIOR脡 WARMING ANTI-BLACKHEAD CREAM CLEANSER?
YES! I love it! It feels so good in the shower!

I like it a LOT! And Biore actually makes a blemish reducer.
it makes your face feel hott. lol. but no, not that well
yes its very warm but ilove it! it works really well

    Blackhead: T-zone and Biore?

Ive tried T-zone nose strips and they were CRAP! Someones recommended Biore. What are you opinion on them?Blackhead: T-zone and Biore?
I've tried the biore strips and they didn't do much. Your best bet for removing blackheads would be physically extracting them completely. You can have this included with many facials at a spa, or you can do it yourself with a blackhead tool or any similar tool (I actually use this dental tool thats metal with a curved head, I guess you can say. It works amazing, surprisingly!) good luckBlackhead: T-zone and Biore?
Also crap. I bought them thinking miracles would happen, but I was sadly disappointed, they did nothing! x
Try Biore, I think they work good.

    Biore blackhead strips?

Do they work? Are they worth a try?

I have millions of blackheads on my nose and around.

I just started using neutrogena blackhead eliminating cushions and they don't seem to be doing much.Biore blackhead strips?
    yup...and its pretty painless!

just wet ur nose and pull off!

its kinda sick looking at your strip and all the dirt and crap that was in your pores

    yech

but so worth it!Biore blackhead strips?
I agree about the pads. I started my husband on them at Christmas and haven't noticed any difference at all.

For deep blackheads the strips won't be of much help. I don't have bad blackheads on my nose (but I do have them) and when I use a strip it does have gunk on it when I pull it off, but my nose doesn't look any different. For your needs, the best thing might be a pimple/blackhead loop. It's made out of a looped wire on a handle and you scrape your skin with blackheads with it. It's used at spas and works fantastic. I've seen them periodically at Walgreens and always at Sally's. They cost about $5.99 but don't need replacing.
I use the Biore strips and they work pretty good. You have to wet ur nose an put the strip on there. It gets hard and u peel it off (painful)...but its worth it.

    Blackhead: T-zone and Biore?

Ive tried T-zone nose strips and they were CRAP! Someones recommended Biore. What are you opinion on them?Blackhead: T-zone and Biore?
I have problems with blackheads on my nose too and I've tried Biore strips and they work!!!! When u remove the strip off your nose, you could see all the blackheads on the strip that were removed. I also use a Biore heating blackhead cleanser and it works!!!! When u have the cleanser on your hands, getting ready to apply it to your face, you feel the heat of the cleanser getting hot. Gently rub it all over your face, especially where u have the black heads and you're gonna see the blackheads coming right off. I guess the heat and the gentle rubbing loosens them and makes them come out.Blackhead: T-zone and Biore?
This should help. Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes and scrub well before washing off with cold water. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.
no crap to they all are get tea tree oil

and go to body shop they have boss stuff

Do you use Clean & Clear Advantage Control with Biore or Neutrogena Blackhead Cleansers?

I started using the Clean %26amp; Clear Advantage Control kit today, and I was wondering if I still needed to use a beauty product towards blackheads (such as Biore or Neutrogena). I was thinking about using the control kit as directed (Cleanser in the morning %26amp; Moisturizer %26amp; Fast Acting Treatment 3x a day) then Neutrogena's Blackhead Eliminating 2-in-1 pads at night. My biggest fear is to overdry my skin.Do you use Clean %26amp; Clear Advantage Control with Biore or Neutrogena Blackhead Cleansers?
    Hi!

I actually found a facial oil that slows down your skins oil production, clears up pimples/ acne and dissolves black heads within 4-8 weeks I put all the info on my blog as it's quite detailed:

    http://beautymoi.blogspot.com

I also put a full article of how to extract blackheads and steam your skin.

Black heads are basically a hardened oil mixture that was secreted from your pores and oxidized (which makes the outside part black) and since water and oil don't mix, no water based product can ';clean'; your blackheads away, just try say putting certain foundations or makeups on the mirror and if you wipe it with water it smudges all over but put a little baby oil and wipe and tada! it comes off super clean AND dissolves it. So this is basically how this oil works. It's composition is such that the skin accepts it as a healing oil and it does not clog your skin but rather protects it while the plant extracts inside go down into the pores (this absorption is made possible by applying the toner to the skin before applying the oil and then applying the dabs of oil over your moistened face), it then penetrates into the pores.

I put where to the name of the oil and prices in stores versus on eBay as well as how to apply it on my blog:

    http://beautymoi.blogspot.com

Also be sure to check out all the links on my blog as they have lots of info!!!

For acne you may want to Google Drying Lotion by Mario Badescu.

    Take care and good luck!

just use ur new product for now. it will def dry ur skin out n it may lead to more breakouts. i used neutrogena cleansers n it dired my skin out so i just leave my face alone now. so just use one of the products!

Should I buy the Clean&Clear blackhead eraser, or Biore strips?

Please tell me. I'm not sure which one to buy! Here's a picture of both of them if you don't know what they are.

well i've never used the clean%26amp;clear blackhead eraser but i have used the biore strips and they're really good but they kind of hurt whenever you peel them off and irritate your skin. but other than that they get rid of blackheads very well and you can even see them in the strip.Should I buy the Clean%26amp;Clear blackhead eraser, or Biore strips?
clean and clear black head eraser really works for me i feel like it exfoliates alot better then everything else
I use Biore all the time and have since they came out...it WORKS...( I even got my husband to use it and he likes it too.)
buy both. use the strips then wash it. that'll be your best bet.
the clean and clear blackhead eraser. biore strips often do more harm than good. they can remove skin that does not need to be removed.
    Biore Strips Baby
Get the Biore strips, you will get really good results.
ive used both and i vote for biore with both hands and feet

  • Biore Strip users!! Blackhead reappeared?!?

I used the Biore pore strips, and I've got to admit that they've worked pretty well. Most of my tiny blackheads were gone!

However, just 30 minutes later, my the area in which I had used the Pore Strip on was even worse! I had way more blackheads that were even darker than before I used it! :(

Please, how can I prevent the blackheads from reappearing?Biore Strip users!! Blackhead reappeared?!?
stop using them! They make them come more they might not suit your skin ...Use a scrub and after a mask to suck off the oil.

    Biore nose strips (blackhead removers)?

i read the directions but does anyone have any tips of their own before i use these for the first time?Biore nose strips (blackhead removers)?
Take a shower before you put it on because the steam will make it work better. Also make sure the strip is dry before you peel it off. Good luck!Biore nose strips (blackhead removers)?
just make sure it's completely dried before you remove it, otherwise it won't work as well.

    Biore warming anti-blackhead cream cleanser?

does that get rid of red pimples too? or just blackheads?Biore warming anti-blackhead cream cleanser?
    I have that!

    First, it feels amazing.

Second, it kind of makes your blackheads into real zits so you can get rid of them... If you understand that. Like, if I have a blackhead and can't get rid of it, then I use the product and it sometimes makes it into a small red zit, but then it disappears soon, if you just use the product again. Sorry if that's confusing.

Third, I use it on my red pimples also, and it works.

I just love how the product feels, personally.

Question about Biore anti-blackhead warming cleanser! HELP?

so i dont know how long i should leave it on my face. it says to put some in your palm and massage it on your face. but then it says to rinse. so i dont know how long i should i leave it on. HELPQuestion about Biore anti-blackhead warming cleanser! HELP?
Almost all masks should be left on for atleast 5 minutes, but from previous experience with that product keep it on for 10-12 minutes. Do it once or twice a week.Question about Biore anti-blackhead warming cleanser! HELP?
leave it on until you feel the warming, then rinse .
If it's a clenser it's just that simple, wash and rinse.

Just like you would any other soap.
you just rub it on your face for about 1min, ur just massaging it all over your face and then just rince it off.

but hey, i had that and it didn't work...trust me. just use sunlight soap...i had blackheads all over my face and none of those products worked.

  • Will using Biore' strips or similar blackhead removal strips cause my pores to get bigger?

Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips effectively clean my pores, and better than any other pore strip I've tried. But I haven't really noticed my pores actually getting smaller. Right after I've used a strip I'd say the appearance of my pores is less noticeable, but I haven't seen any pore shrinkage.

I found this on a comparisson site. I have used them myself, But never noticed my pores getting bigger. I wouls suggest that you use a pore refining solution to minimize the size of your pores. I found that works best for me and most people.

    These biore blackhead strips ??

are they good how do they work.. how do i use then will they be completely gone and how do i prevent form getting them again ??These biore blackhead strips ??
They work. The extra-strength ones work better. The instructions in the package are very clear. They do work better if your face is clean. To keep blackheads from coming back, use an exfoliating cleanser every day. These biore blackhead strips ??
Don't bother, very expensive and not much good.
    THIS WORKS FAST %26amp; CHEAP!!!

I used Tetracyclin, Proactive, Retina A and had many expensive facials with less than good results.

This has worked for me and many many other happy people.

Go to pharm.,Drug store, or Walmart, buy ';PURPOSE'; bar of soap - Blue box - Made by Johnson %26amp; Johnson - wash your face with this

2-3x's per day. Also pick up a LOW strength Benzoyl-peroxide cream, apply the cream by dabbing

to the individual blemishes.... DONT rub it in works using a oxidation/reduction reaction..It will unclog

dry it out and bring it to a head...DONT over use this or put anywhere else on your face. It will cause drying and make you look worse.

Salicylates such as found in regular asprin among other products work very similar but also remove layers of skin...

other over the counter creams with this product will dry out pimples but maybe too hash and cause surrounding skin trauma..

I have seen many people recommending crushing asprin and making a paste which probably will dry out the blemish but again

pretty strong and probably will cause more tissue damage and bigger scars as an anti inflammatory

probably would take the reddness out... again pretty harsh for sensative skin.

Also, If need which probably will for moisture ASK FOR ';NUTRADERM lotion'; - the orginal not the new stuff, this works

great and wont clog pores or leave a residue on your skin...Any lotion that is completely oil free and hypoallergic should

work but again I recommend Nutraderm. I have heard from people online that ';Purpose'; also makes a lotion that is good, Nutragena, and Nivea

make good products also. I recommend Nutraderm from experience and my dematologist.

';Purpose Bar'; %26amp; ';Nutraderm'; are oil free and hypoallergic they contain no perfumes and are great for both men and women.

I have also heard great reports of this soap helping improve skin tone. Some people recommend the ';Purpose luqid soap'; saying

that the bar did dry out their skin some. The rational behind using the bar is that there are no ingredients in it that will clog pores, and

according to dermatologists they recommend the Bar. I have also heard good responses from ';cetaphil soap';. These products are safe for all skin colors and tones. I highly discourage use

of Proactive and other harsh chemicals for people with some natural color in their face due to the bleaching and drying effect it has

    shown in many many people.

Additonal TIPS: acne, pimples, etc are frequently cause by a bacteria or hormone issues that cause clogging of pores.

DONT PICK POP POKE (your hands are the dirtiest part of your body) and will cause: infections, spreading of germs, more breakouts and scarring

DONT EVER listen to people online who tell you to scrub your sensative skin or use harsh chemicals

such as: Lemon juice, vinagar, alcohol, etc... DONT EVER use that APRICOT CRAP!!! DONT USE

PROACTIVE- this is expensive and harsh it may kill the bacteria cause also Benzoyl based wash but

will irritate skin and cause bleaching of face and neck.... Other similar treatments may work.. also

things such as Accutane but have SERIOUS side effects such as Major Depression, %26amp; birth defects in unborn children, among others

If you wear make up make sure it is oil free, %26amp; hypoallergic...Eating healthy...Drinking plenty of water.. changing pillow cases freq.

etc ...avoiding dirty sports equp. such as helmets...can not hurt...Acne/pimples again are caused by pores/hair follicles becoming plugged

up, this plugging then causes an inflammatory reaction - reddness and infection (pimple)..black head is dirt trapped in pore, while a white

head is the same thing you just dont see the dirt instead you see white pus (lymphocytes that accumulate in the area to fight the infection)

It has been shown in many studies this most often not caused by what you eat (chocolate etc... or how clean you are) but most often by either excess oils plugging pores or a bacteria

on the skins surface. - Proactive works in some people because it is a strong Benzoyl peroxide based washed but is most freq. to strong

for people with sensative skin - this is why alot of people get excessive drying and flaking, rashes, bleaching or breakouts from the product.

Retina-A does decrease the bacterial growth on your face but also removes dead/living skin, this can work well in some individuals and

has been shown to reduce wrinkles and scars but again I feel this is pretty harsh on sensative skin prone to breakouts. If you choose

Retina-A never use this product during the day only at night due to the sensativity it will give you to the sun. You must also get a perscription

for this product and I really don't believe it is worth the damage it does to your skin. In some rare cases for very deep/large boils and cyst types

of pimples oral antibiotics maybe needed but I would first recommend trying ';purpose'; and a low dose ';benzoyl-peroxide cream'; along with a good

oil free moisturizer ';Nutraderm... etc'; this does work well.

THIS WORKS FAST AND CHEAP!!! I no longer get expensive facials, take oral antibiotics, or even NEED makeup... I am very happy - Have

very good skin... and have many many other happy friends... THANKS again to my WONDERFUL

DERMATOLOGIST... TRY THIS!! GOOD LUCK.... PS. ';PURPOSE'; costs about $3 ----------------------------------------鈥?br>

----PSSS---sorry so long I have to keep adding more information to this to address common questions that always being asked....

They are PAINFUL! I don't recommend them. They only get the ones that are closest to the surface out. Use an exfoliant on your nose and go in for a series of extraction facials. That will make them go away.

    Question about biore blackhead stri[s?

ok currently i have biore combo pack for nose and face and it works great but i heard that ultra is much more powerful so my question is would the ultra make that big of a difference and does it really remove blackheads that dont move at allQuestion about biore blackhead stri[s?
i love biore strips, but to me the ultras are only a little bit stronger than the regular ones. it might take out more blackheads than the regular ones but it didn't seem like a big difference to me. the only thing that really gets the deep ones are squeezing them out.Question about biore blackhead stri[s?
lol i just bought the nose strips and use them on my forehead too, i don't think it'll make much of a difference.... I also steam my face like half an hour before i do it... Helps bring even more blackheads etc to the surface...
it hard to say coz we did not c your real problem here

but you can always buy the blackhead remover , sth like tweezer but theend is a small loop

i normally squeeze them out with tissue %26amp; use e small loop for e stubborn one :)
I've used ultra and I don't think it's any different than normal, really. If you've got really deep black heads your best bet is to go to a dermatologist. I had a friend who went and got rid of their blackheads in one session. I don't know how much that costs, but it'd probably be worth it!
YES IT CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE AND IT REALLY REMOVE THE BLACKHEADS THAT ARE NOT MOVE FORM THE NORMAL

I have the same skin type as you and I use those strips. They work pretty well too. I use Ponds exfoliator for my face to cleanse it with and moisturizer I either use Ponds facial cream or Mark's Matte Chance moisturizer.Biore Blackhead Strips on my skin.?
yep, i use the cvs brand and they work fine, so biore has to work. lol. just make sure when you take it off you take it off extremely slow, that way it will get everything
they only remove a few blackheads

    Biore blackhead strips?

Do they work? Are they worth a try?

I have millions of blackheads on my nose and around.

I just started using neutrogena blackhead eliminating cushions and they don't seem to be doing much.Biore blackhead strips?
Biore strips definitely work. Trust me Neutrogena sucks at getting rid of blackheads. Once you try those strips they'll yank out your blackheads and it doesn't really hurt and seriously your skin on your nose feels like it can breathe. Try 'em.Biore blackhead strips?

Alright so its pretty ridiculous, id like to think im good looking but my nose is nasty. From far away I look great.. but close up its like.. JESUS!. not only am i plagued with blackheads but i got ';spider veins'; which are almost worse then blackheads- and to my knowledge the only cure is ';laser beams'; pew pew.. But the spider veins can just come back.. and this isnt 007.. lasers cost money! And to top it off i can see my reflection in my nose pretty much ( exaggerated ). But literally i love my skin except for my nose. And Just to warn anyone who will see this.. DONT USE BIORE pore strips.. i used that **** and it ripped off skin that has never healed.. for like a year.. i am so irate with them strips i wish someone told me.. anyways my real question is... How do you get rid of blackheads.. LONGTERM.. i dont wanna go diggin around in my nose cuz that does not work...i have been eating healthy but my social agenda is drinking on the weekends with all my college friends.. ( im 22 ) .. To lift existing blackheads, without squeezing (bad idea), borrow an old-fashioned hair-grip from your Mum or Gran and using a small amount of pressure, pull/slide the folded end over the blocked pores. A lot of the gunge will ooze out in front of the hairgrip without causing skin damage.

Surgical spirit is quite a good de-greaser and prevents infection. To Many Blackheads on nose RUIN my social life / Biore Pore Strips ripped off the skin on my nose?

Do the biore blackhead removing strips make ur nose red??

i'm going to class in an hour and i wanted to use 1 before i leave i just wanted to know before: does it cuase any redness or any obvious marks on the nose (which is the only one i'm using for my nose)...???????????? if it does cause redness how long does it last??Do the biore blackhead removing strips make ur nose red??
it doesnt cause redness but it does take out stuff. some people say it doesnt but it seriously does. look it under bright light you can see tiny hairs and blackheads! but i rarely use this because it breaks me out after 2 days or so. wierd.Do the biore blackhead removing strips make ur nose red??
if you rip it off quick it can make it red and it shouldn't stay red for over a day.It just depends on your skin.
It makes my skin red for about 15 minutes-45 minutes. If I have to go somewhere I just put on a little foundation and Im fine
The best way to get rid of the redness quickly is to lick the blackheads off the strip.
yeah it makes it pretty red, but i think the redness lasts (at least on me) for like 15-30 mins

What's a good face wash/mask that works like or as well as biore blackhead peeling strips?

this is sooo easy! whip an egg white until frothy brush it on your face and let it dry (you will really feel it tighten)then wash it off. What's a good face wash/mask that works like or as well as biore blackhead peeling strips?
Well I'm not sure. But two products that I use that remove all of that is Clean %26amp; Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent and Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque. They both help fight and dry up acne, and shrink large pores. But the mask rinses away blackheads. Are Bior茅 nose strips enough to get rid of blackheads?

What else can I use to get my pores thoroughly cleaned? Are Bior茅 nose strips enough to get rid of blackheads?
Actually yes, I have used them before and they worked really well. Are Bior茅 nose strips enough to get rid of blackheads?
It only gets the blackheads that are on the upper surface of your skin.

If it's deeper it's not going to touch them.
Biore nose strips are only effective for blackheads which dont go very deep into your pores. If you want to achieve more effective results, a blackhead remover tool would be a good idea. But make sure to steam your face or wash it with warm water to open up the pores before using the tool to remove the blackheads. This would make it much easier to remove them. Using too much force would cause your skin to have permanent scarring or pockmarks.
    Yes, They are fantastic.

I got some free in a magazine.

Me and my mum tried them and went and bought some the next day.

    Highly reccomended

    Hope this helps--x
i've tried it... only removes 70% of the blackhead.... i just use a deep pore cleaner to wash my face daily... 80% will be removed... the rest u gotta find another way
They don't entirely remove your blackheads, but if you look at the strip after you use it, you'll see all these little black dots, which are your blackheads. It removes alot of them. If you want to get rid of more, then I would suggest using a black head extractor. It can be purchaced at any drugstore. It works really well to get the ones that won't come out w/ the pore strip. It's a little painful but no more so then the strips.

    Biore blackhead remover strips?

do they really work?????Biore blackhead remover strips?
I've heard good things about them because i too was looking in to them.

I read one tip that suggested to put a piece of scotch tape on your nose before you put the strip on (not underneath the strip...before anything). This will take off some of the dead skin cells and stuff and make the blackhead come out more easily.Biore blackhead remover strips?
Please DO NOT use those! Two weeks ago I had one on my nose, hoping to get rid of some blackheads and I pulled it off and found that the strip had yanked two strips of my top skin layer off! It is still healing and is very painful and will probably leave a scar. Maybe try using a cleanser with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide that gets rid of blackheads. Good luck :)
well i got them free with some face washy thing, and i tried them. the thing is i didnt have blackheads lol so i dont know if it worked. but let me tell you be careful taking them off... they can HURT! lol
yeah they do you first need to steam your face and ex foliate your nose to loosen up the dirt. Then apply the strip.
They hurt like a b*tch, but they work.
I like them...though the results are temporary.

    like most of my blackheads

on on the side of my

    nose

u kno like where ur nose holes

    are theres that little

    bump on each side?

    most of them are there

so are the biore blackhead strips any good? Are biore blackhead strips good?
They work incredibly well IF you use them correctly. You MUST wet your nose and not the strip,or it won't work.

Men's Biore is stronger, so I would recommendusing those, actually, since they can pull out more black/white heads. Are biore blackhead strips good?
As far as pores with clogged sebum, no, but they do remove blackheads
yea ive used them before and they work really good
I don't think so. They only remove the tiniest 'blackheads' you don't notice. The best way to get rid of blackheads is to wash your face twice a day with the warmest water possible to open the pores, use a soft wash cloth to exfoliate, and then rinse with cold water to close up the pores. They will be gone soon!

Is it ok to use Biore blackhead strips on my top lip?

i have black heads just across my top lip, would it be ok to use one of these strips http://www.biore.com/usa/products/produc鈥?/a> to get rid of them? or is there something else i could try to get rid of them immediately?

i'm worried the strip will pull the hair off my top lip and it will grow back darkerIs it ok to use Biore blackhead strips on my top lip?
Ow... that would hurt, and I don't think it would do what you want it to. Better only use the strip where intended.

Try Neutrogena Pore refining products. they work great, but take a few days.

I doubt if it would be strong enough to do that. You can only try it.Or hold a hot wet facecloth over the blackhead to soften it and pop it out.Can i use biore strip to get rid of a blackhead on my forhead?
It might work but I dont think thst they are effective.

    Question about Biore blackhead strips?

I just bought a box of them and the instructions are a bit not so clear. I already used them and got no results, can anyone tell me the proper way to use them please???Question about Biore blackhead strips?
Well all I do is wash my face first. Then I really wet the area where I'm going to put it like my nose. Peel the little thing off and stick it on. Leave it on until its hard. Finally take it off and I get some results.Question about Biore blackhead strips?
biore strips only work if your blackheads are raised above the skin. my boyfriend has a lot of blackheads on his nose... like CRAZY! biore works soooo good on him.

    for me, not so much.

Take a shower or boil water to steam your face and open the pores. dampen the skin where you would like to apply the strip.

try not to wet the top of the strip, but lightly damp it with a wet q-tip or cotton ball just to make sure the pore strip sticks to the skin. (try to wet your skin thoroughly so you can skip this step and get better results.)

let sit for AT LEAST 15-20 minutes.

Remove slowly from the skin, allowing the strip to peel and lift the impurities from your pores.

When you're done, you can manually extract the remaining clogged pores (cause usually they're sticking out a lot now) but try not to give your face red finger nail marks, it can turn brown and leave a temporary scar.

If you have a blackhead extractor, that will work much better and might not be as painful.
i 've used them a couple of times!

ok first, boil some water and put it in a bowl, bend your face over so that the steam opens your pores, helping the stripes do their part of the job.

when the steam is almost gone, put the stripes on,leave them for indicated minutes andd them take them off. npw you'll see that your face might be a bit red but don't worry, wash your face with water ,not too warm though, and then cold.this will close your pores so they don't get clogged so easily again.

then moisturize and that's it,that's how they work best!

oh p.s. you should hold a towel around your head when you are above the steam,it helps. and don't use them more often than once a week because your skin gets itchy and may peel.
Wash your face completely before you use them. Dry your face off, and then dampen ONLY the part of skin the you are putting the strip over. Put the strip on and wait for it to harden, then SLOWLY pull it off. The slower you go, the more blackheads it will pull out (gross lol). Sometimes the blackheads are too small to get all of them, but it should work pretty well. Good luck!
    wet your nose,

apply strip across nose, pressing it on very well.

let the strip harden(it will dry), then remove strip
I've tried those before and I followed all the steps, it didnt' work for me tho
    wet nose

    put strip on

    wet strip again

wait till strip drys and remove

Do Biore (or other brands) nose strips work for getting blackheads out??

I heard they are just a waste of money---has anyone tried them??

Other good brands?Do Biore (or other brands) nose strips work for getting blackheads out??
I use them once or twice a month. They have always worked for me, but I can see why it may not have worked for others.

For one thing, you have to put it on dry, ';bare'; face. Some people have really oily face and their nose get too oily for the strip to dry. If the strip is not dry, the blackheads cannot attach to it, and thus does not work.

Another problem may be that people don't wait long enough. I know that the package says to wait 10-15 minutes, but I usually leave it on for a good 30 minutes until it becomes super crusty. I've always seen great results with these nose strips (all brands).

One word of caution: Biore ';Ultra'; strips do not work as well. I would never purchase it again. Get the regular strength.Do Biore (or other brands) nose strips work for getting blackheads out??
    They're OK...

You're better off using a good soap, steaming your pores, drinking lots of water and reducing the amount of fat in your diet.
eh, i thought they'd be better..
yes i have tried them and unfortuneatley they dont work osrry but dont even waste you money on the crap. I would suggest neurtogena 2-in-1 cleansing pads for acne and black heads it totally works well GOOD LUCK!!
    i dont think so..it doesn't work..
Oh yes they work wonders! I also like Pond's. You should really try them and read the directions. Do it about half an hour before you leave the house so that your skin doesn't look red.
Read tips on treating Acne, Skincare and Home Remedies on this site
Yes they do work but as others have suggested, make sure that as soon as you pull the strip off you rinse it good with cold water, you may even want to place a cool wet wash cloth over the area to help close the pores back up!
save your money, just put duct tape on your nose and peel it off. same thing
i find that if you rip them off (not gently peel as the directions say), they work ok, but they really just pull out all the little hairs on your nose- not the black dots you can see, but they're still better than using nothing, and for $5 for 6 (biore)strips, they're not bad value
    ya they do work.
    yes , a little.
I find that if you wash your face in the morning and before you go to bed your blackheads should be under control.

Does the Biore Anti-Blackhead Warming Cleanser work?

    Description of my Skin:

    Mostly red bumps.

Big pores on and around my nose.

    Few whiteheads/blackheads.

Oily in t-zone, dry on cheeks. (combination skin)

-I read in a magazine that it was recommended for my skin, I just want to hear other people's personal opinions.

-If you could help me that would be great!

(:Does the Biore Anti-Blackhead Warming Cleanser work?
Hi devonn. It would help to know how old you are and what has or hasnt worked for you previously. But anyway as a rule... If you're acne is bad (ie. if you consistently have at least a few blemishes) your best option is to see your GP and get a dermo referral for roaccutane. It's a vitamin A medication that is guaranteed to get rid of your acne (unless you're just a ridiculously tragic case). It strips you of a lot of your natural oils so you need to take good care of skin moisturising.

Most skin experts will tell you that simple, non-fragrant, non-gimmicky products are best. There's a brand called Cetaphil that makes very good cleanser/moisturiser. Another option is Avene, which is based on french thermal water and has a range for acne-prone skin (not to be used in conjunction roaccutane), and a range for dry skin (which you would use if you choose to use roaccutane).

In addition to that its good to exfoliate once a week (brands like St Ives have a good reputation. Neutrogena, Loreal and estee lauder are also good - this is not something you want to opt for the cheapest option as you will be doing more harm than good)

As for the warming cleanser, Biore works well for some, for others it doesnt. Skin types usually respond to different things. I would give it a try. Olay also makes a good one. Just dont expect a miracle, warming products cant really cure really bad acne alone, but theyre really good for opening/decreasing your pores which is a really good thing and makes other products you use much more effective.

The other really important things for healthy skin is your diet and exercise. People always overlook this and search for a quick fix, but you are what you eat. So stock up on fresh veggies, fruit and H2O. Cardio workouts are also really essential because they open and cleanse your pores in a similiar (more effective) way that warming cleansers do - but warming cleansers have the advantage of going in and cleansing simultaneously.

Oh, you might also want to try a night cream called Differin that your GP can get for you. Its the best acne cream that exists, literally.

Whatever you do, dont buy into any brand pimple treatments, garnier, whatever - and especially not proactive. You'll just waste your money and time.

    HTH

  • Do the biore blackhead strips hurt?

I'm thinking of using them, and wondering if they're painful? Or just a little, or what? And approximately how much do they cost? Thanks! :)Do the biore blackhead strips hurt?
I think they run about $6-9 depending where you go (online, cvs, grocery stores) for a box of 12.

They don't hurt much. It feels like taking off a band aid. I actually use elmer's glue. I put a thin layer on my nose, wait for it to dry and I peel it off. It more stuff than the strips. I like the peeling part, I find it fun. And for the price, and the large amount, a bottle of the glue lasts me a year.

Try to use it twice a week, with 3 days intervals. :)Do the biore blackhead strips hurt?
    no,they don't. :)
they hurt a little tiny bit at first but then its all fine after.they cost about 11.00 or so .It depends.
I used on once. They don't hurt at all
they don't really hurt much, about like pulling off a band-aid. I've never had much luck with them though. I use clean and clear blackhead clearing scrub and that seems to work the best for me. good luck!

Does biore pore or blackhead strip really works?

I'm planning to buy the biore black head and pore strip but i'm not sure is it worth it and what if it doesnt even work, and is it bad for you skin?

    I NEED HELP!

thank you for your time :DDoes biore pore or blackhead strip really works?
I think they work. I have pretty good skin, no acne or anything, but the pores on my nose are kinda big, so I use the pore strips to clean out my pores and it makes them look smaller. When you take off the strip and hold it up to the light, you can actually see all the gunk that was in your pores sticking up off of the strip. It's pretty gross but I think they work! And they aren't bad for your skin, not that I know of. They've never hurt my skin as far as I can tell..Does biore pore or blackhead strip really works?
i tried it once and it didnt work for me at all. i dont think its bad per say but it certainyly didnt feel good. i use face masks instead. especially pore-perfect products. i also like Juicy grapefruit mask, its clear and you peel it off. you can see the dirt in the mask when you peel it off. just dont scrimp (or overdo it) when putting it on.
Yes, they work really well, and don't hurt your skin at all, only use once a week.
yea they work really good and they are good for your skin
    not work for me
They never worked on me. A good clay mask will help the best with a daily cleanser
It worked with me, but i always washed my face with a face cleaner from biore as well. They both complimented each other quite well.
I have bought them , and used them. They worked for me, and i have sensitive skin. I had no problem with them, except my skin was red for a minute. I say you're okay to buy them.

Do you guys have any tricks to make the biore strips work on my blackheads because mine doesn't come alot?

try running hot water in the sink and hold your face over it. it will steam your skin and open your pores.

Question about Biore` Blackhead strip removers?

I have two blackheads like right along my upper lip, would it be safe to use Biore` Blackhead removing strips there? I just bought some and this would be my first time using them. Best answer recieves ten points. Thanks in advance to any help.Question about Biore` Blackhead strip removers?
NO DON'T DO IT!!! RESIST THE TEMPTATION! Sorry, but not only will that HURT, but probably won't work. I've use those biore strips before and the stubborn blackhead on my nose is still there. Try some homemade remedies to remove your blackhead.

-Mix 1 tsps groundnut oil with tspn of fresh lime juice. leave on for 10-15 minutes then wash off

-Ground drumstick pods and leaves and mixed with fresh lime juice and apply on blackheads

-Apply fresh lime juice mixed to a glass of boiled milk as a face wash

-make a paste of roasted and powdered pomgrante skin with fresh lime juice and apply over blackheads

    -apply grated potatoes over blackheads

-make a paste of ground radish seeds with water and apply to face

    (This is the best one)

-Use an oatmeal or almond mask throughly to cleanse your face. Mix either oatmeal or almond powder with enough rose water to make a soft paste that spreads easily on the skin. Rub it on your skin with your fingertips, paying special attention the problem areas. Leave to dry for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with cold water. This is very good in getting rid of blackheadsQuestion about Biore` Blackhead strip removers?
i think it would be fine to use them there. i used to put them on my forehead and on my chin sometimes and they worked just the same.
depends how sensitive your skin is.

i've used them before and they don't pull that hard when you need to remove them. but they make your skin feel really good.

if you have sensitive skin then don't.
This happened to me as well.

What I did was with the same product your using, i cut a 2cm by 2cm square.

I washed the area and placed the little strip/square on. And the black head came out. (Follow the instructions on the box/packet) When i peeled it off.

Whatever you do, do not pick at the blackhead. Trust me. It was really bad. So leave it [:

And its best to use some sort of blackhead cleanser %26amp; toner afterwords.

    Good luck [:
I've had blackheads on the line of my lips before so I know what they're like... I'm guessing that they're REALLY in there. The strips aren't that strong, so I don't think they'd get them out. What I did was just squeeze them out (ew... ^___^). They hurt like crazy and they got swollen after, but they're gone now! If you're not comfortable about doing it yourself, just go to a salon where they do facials.
i used biore strips, it didn't really do anything, i think their best for the nose and forehead, i don't recommend using them on that area though
you sould try it first to see if you have a reaction but as long as it doesnt get in your mouth you sould be fine.good luck!
I use them all over my face nose upper lip chin forhead. Use them anywhere they are fine LOVE THEM. they do an amazing job on my face. Good luck. Yeah go ahead and put them on and take care of those blackheads.
i am not sure about biore blackhead removers but, one thing i do know that works is the microdermabrasion kit by beauticontrol. i ordered it from this lady consultant her website is www.beautipage.com forward slash kanthony-sumner and it is awesome. it did it for me!
The removing effects may be to harsh for your upper lip, as it may leave it red (like after waxing) after removing the strip after it's been on your skin for 10 min. It hurts to take the strips off your nose, let alone a sensitive area like above your lip!

    I know from bad experience...!

Try an astringent with blackhead busting powers, like Clean and Clear has one, and so does Clearisil.
well on the package it says not to use them anywhere else because it's not safe so i don't think i would use it there i only use them on my nose and i pop the ones above my lip

    HOPE I HELPED!!!
I've used the strips on my chin before, and it worked. I don't see why not. Good Luck.
i use those, and it just opens up my pores even more so they get blemishes more easily. try a facial scrub instead like St Ives apricot scrub.
your best bet would be trimming the strip to fit just above your lip but not actually touching it.

    :)
I think Biore or some other company makes a blackhead facial scrub. Blackheads are genetic, so they come back, and you need to stay on top of them.

Biore nose strips work great on my nose, but not other parts of my face.
Biorie' is OK, if you like to rip your skin off! The blackheads are the oxygenation of the air hitting the sebine in the acne bump. Your best bet is to use Neutrogena Salicylic Acne wash, the straw colored one, which is over the counter, and try not to pinch the black head out, as this will only give you a fat, and possibly red lip! There is also a whole line of products called AquaGlycolic, as in a face wash toner and a leave on.. But when you 1st start using these products it will possibly bring out more acne than you thought you had and possibly not. But after the pores are clean and you keep up your daily care, your face should be clear! If not go see a dermatologist. They can give you something even stronger and better for your skin! Believe it or not it is even better that Pro Active, but another good choice is Kinerase, they also have a product line.
I would not. There's probably peach fuzz on your upper lip, and the glue would get stuck on it.

    A better way:

Run hot water until you can barely touch it, then moisten and wring out a wash cloth. Use the heated compress on the skin for several minutes, then try to extract the blackheads with your nail. Be sure to clean the skin well after and apply a benzoyl-peroxide based acne cream to clean up any bacterial residue.

PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU'VE HAD VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THESE STRIPS.

They work very well. You'll be able to see the blackheads on the strip if you hold it sideways after you've pulled it off. It's really cool actually. I like putting them on other people and comparing the blackheads. They do come back though so it's a continuous thing. One strip won't get rid of all of them forever though. You'll still have blackheads but you're nose will look really clean and shiny (in a good way).

I find the Witch Sticks work especially well.I just used the Biore nose strips to pull the blackheads out of my nose and it wored great but...?
be sure to exfoliate so dead skin cells wont clog your pores and form new blackheads. washing with soap is good, but they make specially designed products that fight against blackheads and help others from forming. my favorite is clean and clear blackhead face wash
if biore worked for you already, you should use another product from their line. see if they have a daily blackhead prevention and elimination wash.
I love using those! They work great! To prevent blackheads, you could get a cream to put on before you go to bed or a face wash specifically for blackheads. St. Ive's sells a face wash like that. I love it! There is also this thing called a pore extractor. If you see a blackhead starting to form, you use the extractor and it prevents it from becoming a pimple.

    Good Luck!

Where do the Biore strips for blackheads??

whats does the box look like??Where do the Biore strips for blackheads??
Biore' products are in a light green box and would be with skin care and acne products (such as Clearasil, Clean and Clear, etc). Before you use them, put a warm wash cloth over your problem area for several minutes and let the steam open pores and loosen the blackheads....this way you won't have to use more strips then necessary. They go for $5 to $6 a box but they offer online coupons if you are interested in that.Where do the Biore strips for blackheads??

How to read expiry date for Biore warming anti blackhead cleanser?

Ok so I bought this from USA when I was there. I bought like 5 packs. At the bottom I can see ';T326CE05 EXP 05 2007';.Does it mean it already has been expired in 2007? I just want to be sure. If it is expired can I still use it, may be it would not work efficiently but it will work little bit, right? Please advise. How to read expiry date for Biore warming anti blackhead cleanser?
Yes, it has expired (May, 2007). However, manufacturers put the expiration dates on some products not because the contents are no good after that date but because the public expects it or the law requires it. Ex: bottled water.* They'll also pad the date to make sure it stays fresh through the date. My pharmacist said that most prescription drugs are fine at least 6-12 months after the expiration date listed. If it's sealed (you have to puncture it to open it) it's probably just fine.

You could make test patch on the inside of your arm. If it doesn't break out and the stuff looks okay use it. You paid good money for it!

I would use it and expect that the results would be the same or at most very slightly diminished. If it looks or smells different from the fresher product, I'd toss it.How to read expiry date for Biore warming anti blackhead cleanser?
an expiration date for medication is the average date, for the lot number (in this case T326CE05) the potency of the medication starts to decrease.

Once past the expiration date the chemical compounds in the medication start to break down. Over a long period of time will not resemble the original medication and can be dangerous to use.
sorry. but it means it expired in may of 2007.

and its not safe to use it.

if a chemical product that you are gointo use on your skin is expired, its just not safe.

    may 07

im sure its fine to use, but i wouldnt just to be on the safe side

I don't know about the other two but Neutrogena tests on nonhuman animals. I, for some reason, don't think rabbits get blackheads like we do.
Biore makes these great Blackhear remover things for your nose and forehead. They work great. All you do it wet the skin and then stick the remover on there. Then wait 10 minutes or until it is dry. It will feel like papermache. Then you pull it off. You can actually see them on the sticker. You put it on wet so it sticks to them and when it dries it sucks them out and they stick to it so when you pull it off they are all stuck to it.

?MAJOR BLACKHEADS!!!BIORE PRODUCTS?ANYTHING YOU MIGHT KNOW THAT CAN HELP?
YES! The biore pore strips work like a charm! They hurt like hell when you take them off but you can actually see all the blackhead on the srtip...its so neat. but you have to follow the directions for them to work right! Get them, i love em!MAJOR BLACKHEADS!!!BIORE PRODUCTS?ANYTHING YOU MIGHT KNOW THAT CAN HELP?
the Biore warming blackhead cleanser in the green bottle is amazing

when i use it, it warms on contact, and gets rid of my blackheads everywhere in 2 days

    trust me it works

i used it for about a year
its a nightmare i know a was the same and im 27 but this worked for me i can guarentee it, especialky good if you don't want to rub a whole bunch of chemicals over your face.
';Neutrogena on the spot acne treatment'; helps me alot, even with the stupid black heads, its a little bottle, but works wonders.
The Biore strips didn't work for me, but scrubs usually work better.
You know the floss sticks with the pocky end on the bottom?

I use those (the pocky end) to extract my blackheads. It hurts a little but it well worth it for the results. Just stab the blackhead and wait for puss to come out. My dermatologist recommended this for me and it helped so much! I would say to do it right out of the shower or after washing your face using hot water. This makes it hurt a lot less and its easier that way. You should also use a blackhead scrub (neutragena, clean and clear ect.) 3-4 times a week to make sure you really don't get any b.h. at all. Hoipe this helps you!

I ran out of biore blackhead nose strips, can I use the face strips on my nose? (more details)?

I really need to use one tonight, but my very last nose strip got thrown away :(

I still have a lot of face strips left, so can I use one on my nose?

and will that be ineffective or cause any damage to my nose?I ran out of biore blackhead nose strips, can I use the face strips on my nose? (more details)?
I believe you can! I bought the packet where it included both nose and face strips, and I think they're the same... the shaping just differs! Both nose and face strips are effective the same way! =)

10 points should i try biore blackhead strips?

I have oily skin which have lead to alot of blackheads, my nose is pretty small but the blackheads are so noticable its embarrising, i heard they work alright, is there anything to do to make them work better, are they really expensive? Sorry for so many questions but i dont want to make a mistake and ill give you 10 points if your descriptive10 points should i try biore blackhead strips?
Biore black head strips work pretty good, they aren't that expensive, well it depends on how many you get, if you go to a drug store you can get a package of biore blackhead strips for about $3-6, Apparently there isn't anything you can do to make biore black head strips better, i would recommend using the Clearasil acne pen remover, it works over-night, on black-heads %26amp; zits, on any kind of skin, Also you should use a cleanser every morning or night, the cleanser would get rid of the excess oil.

When you first try on the biore black head strips they feel really fresh like, the nose one won't make you all teary but the fore-head one might make you teary. Eventually your skin will get used to it though.

Honestly, i don't think biore is the best acne treatment, i think neutrongna/clean and clear are, there products are actually effective, but the black head strips from biore work decently.

hope this helped(:10 points should i try biore blackhead strips?
cleansers with scrub make things worse, and i dont think the strips work. or at least, they didnt for me.

this sounds kinda gross but the best way to get rid of them (and fast) is to just squeeze them

the back stuff comes out, then you can cleanse your face to be sure theyre gone

    its actually really effective
THESE ARE A BEAUTYYY ! they work so great, i do them about once every 2-3 weeks. they open up the pores, and release blackheads immediatly. i suggest you try them. they cost alot, well id say around 13-15$ for a pack of 7.. i think. but they work really well.

    Good Luck !
I've used them before, and had good results. I'm not sure how much they cost though...

With the whole oily skin, try an astringent. it cleans your skin, and takes the oil. I have oily skin, its a pain, but it helps. I have the clean and clear one.
They don't work they just stick to your skin and dry it out. I would suggest an everyday scrub with beads in it that exfoliates that usually works best for me.

Where do you get those Biore (did I spell that right?) Strips, for Blackheads ?

I live in canada. And I've never heard of them until about now...so anyone know?Where do you get those Biore (did I spell that right?) Strips, for Blackheads ?
pharmacy... Where do you get those Biore (did I spell that right?) Strips, for Blackheads ?
If you have a CVS they have a lot of acne kits and things like that. Or RiteAid..pharmacys really.
If your drugstores don't have them, try online at CVS Pharmacy, Walgreen's, or even the Biore website. Here in the US, they're in

    any drugstore or Walmart.
    walmart?

cause i saw a bunch of biore stuff there

    Blackheads? biore strips.?

If i take a needle and kinda of pop the blackheads on my nose

and then put on a biore strip, will that work better?

or should i just put on the strip without doing anything?Blackheads? biore strips.?
I would use the strip first, then toy with what it didn't pick up.

I use them sometimes, but I find that they don't always make my nose look perfect, and that's really annoying. I don't know if they just don't work well or if my face is just a natural disaster that can't be fixed.

I would try both methods though, because you can just use another one in a few days. Blackheads? biore strips.?
I've never heard of anyone using a needle, wouldn't that damage your skin? I just put the strip on, and it usually takes some blackheads out.
I really don't recommend using a needle. Doesn't sound very hygienic at all.

I would just use the strips.
dont use a needle, are you crazy girl?

your skins gonna be so red and puffy after.

  • Do Ponds/Biore blackhead strips actually work?

I was thinking about using them, but would rather not waste $7 if they don't actually work. Anybody whose tried them on here?Do Ponds/Biore blackhead strips actually work?
Yes they do but I go to family dollar and buy mine for a lottttttttttt less.Do Ponds/Biore blackhead strips actually work?
ya they work really really well.
yes it works @ first then it seems like the next time it only pulls up half i use apricot scrub works perfectly only $3
ya they work if you have pores the size of swimming pools...not even joking...if you have little tiny pores that your wanting to clean...it wont do it...but it will basically wax your nose of fine hairs...LOL
Yes, they do work, however, they don't get rid of ALL of the blackheads, but they do help a lot. Personally, I would just go to ULTA or some beauty store and get a blackhead popper. They cost maybe $3 and they're small, metal, and have a little hole on them so you put that hole over your blackhead and apply pressure to it, then the blackhead will pop and then you're good to go.

What you really should do is use the Biore strips to get rid of most of the blackheads, and then if you have some really bad noticable blackheads, then you might want to use the blackhead popper.
I just buy blackhead remover from The Body Shop.. =) And remove them one by one manually! hehe^^

Blackheads - Do Biore Pore Strips Really work?

    i have really bad blackheads!!!!!!!

sometimes i look at myself in the mirror and just cry, that's how much they effect me, ive tried everything steaming my face, blackhead scrubs, i wash my face every night without fail, i recently cme over these new biore strips do they work really? are they worth it ?

    or is there anything else

    Its much much appreciated !

xxBlackheads - Do Biore Pore Strips Really work?
Ah my beauty secret is this mask you can buy at Ulta or CVS. Its called Mint Julep: http://www.acne.org/images/products/quee鈥?/a>

its a clay mask that you leave on for about 15 min. When the clay dries, it pulls dirt and oil from your pores and get rid of it when you wash it off your face.

I usually use it twice a week right after a shower when pores are open because of the stream. I used to have a lot of blackheads on my nose, but since I have been using this, none at all.

Also clean and clear just came out with a vibrating blackhead cleanser. I would look into that in addition to the mask.

It will work, I promise. I have never been impressed with biore.

Oh and also try a little Seabreeze too. The yellow one is the best for blackheads. Just dab a little on after you wash your face.

You should be blackhead free in no time

Good luckBlackheads - Do Biore Pore Strips Really work?
What works really well are chemical exfoliants like Alpha hydroxy acid, beta hydroxy acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid etc. You should get a face wash with one of those in it, and get some pads too. Avon makes a good glycolic pad called ';anew';. Yes, the biore strips work, but for long term use I think you're better off with a chemical.
OMG! I had that exact same problem! I havent tried the strips but when I started using Clean %26amp; Clear Blackhead ERaser that my mom suggested. After 2 weeks of using it 4 times a week, you will see improvement! AFter using it for a month, i NEVER get blackheads again!
I've only heard bad things about them. I used them once, and although they removed most of the blackheads, they left behind a nose covered in tiny, hard little bumps that stuck around for 2 weeks or so.

Definitely not worth it for me - I'd rather have the blackheads.
they work sorta... but not much. they rip more hair out of your nose then clogged pores. you need to get a facial. thats what facial are, they clear your pores and clean your skin and exfoliate it. i promise you, that'll take care of it.

also, what kind of foundation are you using?? might be coming from that. bare minerals is the best thing i ever did for black heads.
I used these once and I will never use them again! It was almost like the chemical burned my skin. It pulled out like 5 blackheads so for me it was not worth it, BUT everyone is different. Give it a try it may work for you.
i use them and id say they work!!you just have to wash ur face before and put them on when ur nose is wet and make sure to leave it on until its like paper mache, hard, then peel it off! hope it works 4 u!!! XD
    Yep, get a facial.

    1) They feel goood.

    2) Get rid of blackheads.

    3) Get rid of spots and oilyness.

    4) Make your face feel soft and smooth, and looks good.

Yes, they seem to work best on the nose.

:)Biore nose strips didnt get rid of all my blackheads on nose what do i do?
Facial scrubs work best for me. I use Proactiv and its been going great. Only one week and my face has completely cleared up. I'd suggest any facial scrub though

    Good Luck
Haha. Same here. My blackheads are mostly flat so the strips don't really pull them out. So I still use them once a week but I also use the Biore warming anti-blackhead scrub. It works pretty well together so I hope it works for you too!
Sue the company for false advertising.
Try stuff by AVON works great and they deliver to any address! the website is....www.yourAVON.com/kgardiner

    go get a facial
Ooh, do those hurt? I really want to try them!
there is no getting rid of ALL of them, not for me anyway. i tried lots of stuff
well these alot of things... first buy the clean and clear face wash and scrub those help... next use a face mask
The best step to healing blackheads is to prevent them. Wash your face with a grainy cleanser twice a day. Eat your leafy veggies. Take multivitamins. Keep your hands off your face.
They take time to go away, but benzoyl peroxide will help loosen them up. Also try using baking soda, just look it up on youtube there is a video on how to do it.
    Neutrogena Blackhead eliminating cleanser
The Biore pore strips never remove all of your black heads. I use them occasionally.

What does work well though is blackhead extractors. They cost about $6, but they are guarenteed to remove black and white heads.
Buy a special face wash for blackheads. They have them at most grocery stores and pharmacys.
thats really painful...instead use st.ives apricot scrub for blemishes....i use it before I take a shower, work great.
Wash your face with a mild cleanser, then either hold your face over steaming water or put a very warm washcloth over your face for a couple minutes to open the pores. Then use a clay based facial mask. If you lay back with it on for about 20 minutes and let it dry you can see on the dried mask where the oil from the pores sucks right into it. Biore strips don't work really well for me (and they hurt!) Using a clay mask with open pores will work wonders though.

Is biore warming blackhead face wash good?

I've got blackheads on my chin and nose and I wanted to try this face wash is it any good?Is biore warming blackhead face wash good?
Yes. I love this stuff. Really does feel warm too. Steaming your face first gives an extra boost. Is biore warming blackhead face wash good?
Yes, they also have strips you can put on those spots to help.
    It's OK.

Has anyone tried Biore warming blackhead cleanser?

I only got it yesterday and the result was amazing. I was just wondering, although it does remove blackheads, does it really prevent them?

And does it work with whiteheads?Has anyone tried Biore warming blackhead cleanser?
I tried it and didn't like it at all.

The warming really on lasts about five seconds, because really, how long can a product stay warm with no heat being added to it?

I ended up calling the company and getting my money back.

And no, it doesn't prevent blackheads.Has anyone tried Biore warming blackhead cleanser?
it goes deep into your blackheads, whiteheads, and pores and clean dirt out gradually by 1 week you will see a major difference!

Which products work better for blackheads. Neutrogena, Clean & Clear or Biore?

i want to know before buying any of themWhich products work better for blackheads. Neutrogena, Clean %26amp; Clear or Biore?
I don't know about the other two but Neutrogena tests on nonhuman animals. I, for some reason, don't think rabbits get blackheads like we do.Which products work better for blackheads. Neutrogena, Clean %26amp; Clear or Biore?
Biore makes these great Blackhear remover things for your nose and forehead. They work great. All you do it wet the skin and then stick the remover on there. Then wait 10 minutes or until it is dry. It will feel like papermache. Then you pull it off. You can actually see them on the sticker. You put it on wet so it sticks to them and when it dries it sucks them out and they stick to it so when you pull it off they are all stuck to it.
I think Biore would work more because it's been around longer.

  • Ever used those Biore blackhead strips for your nose or chin? What did you think of them?

I am scared to start using these b/c I don't want to have to use them constantly to keep my face looking good. Will the appearance of my pores be more apparent after using these? Any advice is appreciated.Ever used those Biore blackhead strips for your nose or chin? What did you think of them?
Use them. I use one on both my nose and chin every two months or so. Then wash your face in cold water to shrink the pores back to size. You won't become dependent. I used to use one every week as a kinda girl-bonding ritual with my mom, but now I can't afford them as often so I just use one every great once in a while.

They are MIRACLE workers. You will be amazed. And, probably, kinda grossed out about all the little bumps you never noticed before, but no longer have. Be prepared for a little redness at first. I would suggest going to a place that does face waxing and get a bottle of the lotion they use. It will help your skin feel better afterward.

And don't be scared. It's not as bad as some OTHER things people do to themselves in the name of beauty.Ever used those Biore blackhead strips for your nose or chin? What did you think of them?
oo i luv them! they work so well! make sure u press down hard on them with water so it stays. dont try to redo it if u messed up putting it on...i ruins it. o and take both ends and peel them at the same time doesnt hurt as bad GOOD LUCK!! Report Abuse

I hated them. They ripped out all of the fine, invisible hairs. Which later caused me to have hundreds of little ingrown hairs. Which, of course, turned into zits.
    dont have blackheads
i've tried them before, they didn't work as well as i thought they would, but they do help. i find facial masks more efficient. Proactive ';on the spot/mask'; worked the best for me, on a topical level. But no, your pores will not look any bigger after using the strips, it's the opposite actually, by removing blackheads/whiteheads, it'll allow your pores to close up and look smaller, giving you a smoother complexion.
    They don't work.

See this website for info on treating acne.

    http://dermatology.about.com/cs/acnecome鈥?/a>

    Rick the pharmacist
I have used these before and did not notice a major if any difference. Matter of fact, it leaves that sticky tape like residue on your face from putting the strip on! Almost like a bandaid outline. I would recommend trying proactiv. Works great, only downfall I found was that it has some type of bleaching agent in it so it will stain your towels, pillows, and facial hairs if your not careful. heheh. Good luck!
if I had 20 blackheads in an area it took care of one....not that effective
I didn't find the results to last. They won't change the size of your pores.
trust me it make a difference. USE them
All they do is grab the black heads that are above the surface or near to it. They dont work that great.

Trying them out isnt going to ruin your complexion.

You can get some pore refining washes that will work wonders to shrink your newly emptied pores. A nice face scrub to keep dead skin cells from making new back heads is always a good idea. Atleast once a week, along with a mask.
I have used those, hurts to take off but works well. Ductape is a cheap way and the same thing.
Yes I have used them and they work GREAT. No, your pores are not more apparent, you simply look cleaner. You do not need to use them all the time. Just once every week or two weeks.
Didn't have much of an effect on me - good or bad. Waste of money in my case. Considering the conflicting reviews here - you should just try them and see for yourself. One time won't hurt.

  • How much do biore blackhead nose strip things cost?

how much do these biore strips cost Canadian money? How much do biore blackhead nose strip things cost?
There are different kinds. They are either $6.12 or $9.18. They are pretty expensive. I used one last night for the first time and u can really see what the strip has pulled out when you are done.

Hope this helps!!!!How much do biore blackhead nose strip things cost?
They cost a considerable amount of money, and I don't think they even work that great. If you're careful, you could squeeze out the blackheads. I've done this, so I know it works.
I used them and they didnt really work for me at all.So i just steam my face over a bowl filled with hot water and a towel on my head.
    don't know sorry....

Have you ever used Biore Strips for blackheads?

If so, did it work? did you like it? explain your experiance.

thanks in advance!Have you ever used Biore Strips for blackheads?
I have used them before and I loved them. I would recommend these to anyone. They are inexpensive and actually work. You should try them.Have you ever used Biore Strips for blackheads?
yes, and they didn't work like I thought they would...kind of a waste of money in my opinion. and it pulls a lot when you take them off. i've found that just applying a clay mask like once a week helps to keep blackheads at bay.
yeah they are great.. you have to be carefull to take them off when it says to i fell asleep with one on and removing it hurt REALLY bad.
The nose ones worked okay. But my sister tried the other ones too ... I think they're for the forehead or chin? She said those didn't.
Not really. They can only remove those bigger ones that are nearer to the skin surface. Those smaller and more below cannot be removed. It is only a tentative method.
It works for the nose, but make sure its totally dry before peeling it off
doesn't help, cheap beauty secret, clear duct tape works, clinque even sold some for years. key to to press then release quickly
Yeah, they worked. But, holy cow, it hurts when you pull the strip off. I assume it's a lot like waxing eyebrows or something. It was enough to make me scream and my eyes water. But I'm a wimp in that category. I can get a tattoo, but I can't pluck or wax, so the strips are a big NO for me. But they did work, they pulled out a bunch of junk.
it was wierd stuff first when i put the water on the smooth side my fingers got really sticky. and when i put it on my nose it was wet and the paper got all bubbly. anyway when it was time to take it off it didnt hurt that bad (not like a wax job) and my blackheads came off. if you hold it up to the light you can see it.

How to use a biore blackhead nose stripe?

Sorry, what i mean is how do you apply water on your nose before putting on the nose stripe. i just dap water onto my nose and it seemed that the water is not enough, and at the other side of the biore stripe seems to be dropping off because it's not sticky enough. what would you suggest to use for dripping the water onto your nose, a cotton ball or tissue? How to use a biore blackhead nose stripe?
Ok i have the same ones, all you do is wash your face and straight away put it on. don't worry about the dripping water, also you don't want to much water just a little bit and it will be fine. Wait 10 minutes and starting pulling slowly from both the sides. Also it may not look like enough but if your sticky strap sticks its enough. and then it will go hard. Good luck. How to use a biore blackhead nose stripe?
I just splash water onto my nose, or take handful of water and splash it right onto my nose. Or you could take a washcloth and soak it in water and put it on your nose. It really doesn't have to be professional like with a cotton ball or tissue. That most likely WON'T get enough water on your nose for the Biore strip to stick.

hey i got cousins who are dermatologists. my secret in getting rid or white heads and blackheads...wash ur face with soap ivory, dove any mild ones. then pat dry ... apply elmer's glue to ur nose evenly (be sure it can be peeled off thickness) then let dry... after drying, peel it off and the whiteheads and blackheads will stick to the dried glue... dont wash ur face again but put an ice to close the pores. I am not making fun of u ok. try it. I am doing it once a week before bedtime so it can rest. God bless
just wet your nose enough with water and put the strip on it really works. i love it but its gross to see the blackheads on the strip.

you just apply school glue on your nose (thin layer) and wait for it to dry (5-10minutes) then you peel away :DDo biore strips work for blackheads ?
Yes they work for blackheads and they make biore strips for your forehead, cheeks and chin too. Make sure you follow the directions perfectly or else it will not work correctly. I use these babies all the time. =)
The nose strips go on the nose, they sell other strips for other parts of the face. Yes, they can work with some blackheads and do a decent job cleaning out the pores.
They worked for me. It took away tons of my blackheads which i hate. Try them out if they dont work for you, you can always try something else. I think it will though. Yes there only for your nose =)

  • How can i get my blackheads out without using a biore strip?

Wash face with hot water, or place a hot wash cloth on your face for a few minutes. This will open the pores up, using finger tips push the skin together extracting the nasty blackheads. You can also buy an extractor for this by tweezerman at Sally beauty supply. How can i get my blackheads out without using a biore strip?
    Indian Healing clay.

Get it a healthfood store. Mix with liquid (2 parts water, 1 part apple cider vinegar) to the consistency of a thick paste. Smear it on face, and leave on until completely dry. This can take 30-60 minutes. Then was off with a wash cloth and warm water. Then use a water-based moisturizer on your skin.

You can do this safely once a week. If your skin becomes irritated, leave the vinegar out of the water next time. This draws crap out of the pores, and when used with a little apple cider vinegar it also has the effect of a mild chemical peel. How can i get my blackheads out without using a biore strip?
There are several methods but the best is to use a face wash that contains Salicylic acid, aka aspirin, for your daily facial cleansing if you aren't allergic to aspirin. Next, gently do a facial scrub once a week using sugar or baking soda...like I said...VERY GENTLY...don't press!

Be sure to rinse your face extremely well and use apple cider vinegar as a toner after your regular daily cleansing!
Change your diet. Diet affects your skin more than any other cause. If you cut out as much red meat and pork as possible. Cut out junk foods that contain extra salt or extra sugar. Drink 6 to 8 bottles of pure water every day. Drink organic fruit juices and eat fruits for snacks. Eat fresh vegetables raw in salads or stir-fried with tofu or steamed, in less than a month your skin will clear up. Your facial skin will become smoother, you will lose any excess fat, have more energy, more stamina and your mental processes will increase. Also, walk. Walk at least two miles every day after school or work. You will not believe the changes in your body, skin and health. Do this for the rest of your life and you will be healthier and look better than everyone around you well past middle age.
Buy some clay powder in the pharmacy for face masks. Mix it with water and apply it to your clean face then leave it for about 20 minutes till it dries, then wash it. Do this every day for a week and the blackheads will be gone. After a week apply the mask two times a week to prevent reappearance.

And if you use a facial cleansing scrub once a week, that helps a lot too and keeps your pores clean.

Also, if you make some chamomile tea by boiling it on the stove in a larger pot. After it is boiled, place your head at the top of the pot (without touching the pot with your face, of course) and put a towel on your head so that the steam arises to your skin and does not escape into the air. This is good both for treating the pores and for moisturizing. But be careful not to get burned.

If you use this with the clay powder treatment and the scrub, your skin will be almost like a baby's.
There are some products out there labeled as pore cleanser, try a gentle one. But exfoliating once a week could alleviate the problem, so try to with also a gentle exfoliator. Now they come in the form of creams with beads, but as long as you continue to do it you will notice a difference.

Whatever you decide to do don't touch your face , i did and i ended up with broken capillaries.

Using a good toner is also a good idea.
girl biore strips suck i have tried those and i have tried all the expensive stuff everyone says works but im a down to earth person and ima tell u what really works and that is the clean and clear black head remover and scrub ... i use it twice a day i do not scrub hard i but gently rub it on my face then i always moisterise it works trust me

try mixing lime or lemon juice with sugar or you can scrub with natural sea salt either way rinse with cold water after
Those biore strips are expensive and in my case and in cases of others I know they didn't work. Try a blackhead cleanser, like Noxema blackhead cleanser, use it daily. Steaming your face helps too.
First of all, do not use biore strips - or any pore strips, for that matter. They can cause irritation and cause more damage to the skin. As for your blackheads...

-Avoid soap-based cleansers and choose a cleanser containing salicylic acid, which helps to kill bacteria. Don't use too many cleansers as once, as this can irritate the skin further, and don't wash your face too frequently - once in the morning and once at night will do it.

-Try a steam facial. Fill a bowl or sink with steaming hot water and wrap a towel around your hair. Bend over the bowl or sink (don't actually touch the water) for five to ten minutes, and then retreat and empty the sink or bowl. The steam helps to unclog the pores, and empty them of the dirt and bacteria causing your blackheads.

-Don't touch or pick at your blackheads. Think of everything you touch and do with your hands and fingers each day. Our hands are covered in germs and bacteria that will only make your blackheads worse. Besides, picking at your blackheads could cause scarring. If you feel you absolutely need to pop your blackheads, press a warm/hot cloth to the area for a few minutes and gently squeeze with the pads of your fingers (no fingernails!!!). Only attempt to do this once or twice so that you do not bruise the area and worsen the blackheads. Afterwards, gently cleanse the area with a non-soap based cleanser.

-Use oil absorbing sheets during the day (otherwise known as blotting tissues). Carry them with you in your purse or pocket, and just dab your face every once in awhile. Excess oil can cause acne, especially blackheads. Clean %26amp; Clear is a good brand. You can find oil absorbing sheets at most drugstores.

    Best of luck!

    XOXO,

    Laurie
